"I looked at a lot of different photographers for my April 2018 elopement, seeing as the ceremony was private, it was very important for us to have amazing photos to share with friends and family. When I saw Shannon's work I was instantly hooked. Not only are her prices very fair, but her photos capture amazing light and tender moments I didn't see in other photographer's work. She was very patient with us as we worked out our elopement location and details in the months leading up to the special day, and was happy to travel all the way to an obscure lookout tower in Sisters, Oregon. My husband and I can both be awkward picture takers, but working with her on that day was easy and fun, she was very helpful with directing us into poses. The turnaround time for the photos was incredibly quick and we are absolutely thrilled with the work she did. The photos are beautiful, top quality, and bathed in a gorgeous warm light! We cannot stop looking at them"!

"When looking for an out of state photographer my husband and I were having a hard time finding someone within our budget... let alone someone having a lot of pictures in the same areas we were hoping to be in! Shannon went above and beyond from things such as helping us look for locations, capturing our big day while reassuring us that everything was okay since things were running behind, and the quick turn around for pictures. "I found Shannon's work through a mutual friend who had recently gotten married and I have to say — Investing in her to be our photographer was one of the single greatest decisions I made for our wedding. I love her style of editing; it's very minimal, natural, light and airy. More than beautiful photos, Shannon is EXCELLENT day-of your wedding. She was very efficient with our family photos, which was amazing and made things go quick and smoothly. They turned out SO good! So many photographers we looked at didn't get good family photos and that was important for me.
She is also super personable and really cares about providing you with photos that not only you may have pre-requested, but also unstaged, in-the-moment photos that really capture the essence of your special day. She absolutely went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations and my husband also raves about her work from our wedding (which is huge, because he doesn't just say good things about anyone).
One of the things I love most is that Shannon not only captures beautiful family and ceremony pictures, but moments. Some of my favorite pictures of our day come from Nick and I laughing and goofing off. She captures people as they are, which is a talent and skill in itself to convey through a photo on its own.
AND, she even got our sneak peak photos done the DAY AFTER! Say what!? That was THE BEST. 😀 Oh, and she has a very good eye for backdrops, hence the picture of us on the gravel road with trees around us (lookin super dreamy).
P.S. I expected to love maybe 40-50% of our wedding photos, but I ended up loving 99% of them!! Not kidding."
