Kind words

Angela Justice

Shannon has been our family photographer for the past 3 years, taking photos of my two children from birth to toddler age and everything in between. I always leave the shoot knowing I will love the photos and when I finally see them I'm NEVER disappointed (and I'm really picky!) She's extremely patient, easygoing, and somehow always gets my toddler to smile! She truly is a talented photographer and I can't recommend her enough! (2016)

"Shannon was wonderful to work with! She took both maternity and newborn photos for our family, and we just love them all. Shannon has a great eye, and was so gentle with our little Ella. She turned the pictures around really quickly, too, which was so much appreciated given how excited we were. We will definitely work with Shannon again!"

"I started following Shannon on Facebook when she lived in Okinawa, Japan and that is when I fell in love with her pictures. I was ecstatic when I heard she was moving back to Oregon and I immediately booked a session with her. She takes such wonderful photos and is so patient and kind. My kids love her! She captured some amazing photos in our family session, including some candid moments that will be cherished lifetime memories. I would highly recommend Shannon to anyone I know!"

"Shannon is absolutely incredible. She shot a "mini-session" for Christmas photos. I just wanted something basic without having to spend an arm and a leg. The photos she took for us were not only incredibly reasonably priced, but they were above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. She captured all of our personalities better than anyone else ever has, and the lighting and color depth that she was able to achieve (while it was raining!!) is stunning. We will be coming back to her again and again. :)"

"Love Love Love!!! I met Shannon through Facebook when she was looking for newborn models and I just so happen to be expecting my daughter the week before she was wanting to book these model sessions. After anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl she arrived amazingly on her due date so Shannon was excited to use her when she was 1 week old. We met at her in home studio and let me tell you she is a true professional when it comes to a newborn photography. Her home was very warm and she provided everything my daughter and I needed to make us feel comfortable! I couldn't be happier! Like others have mentioned it was really hard to choose between the photos because they were all AMAZING!!!"

"Shannon is such an amazing photographer and it really is a gift that she is able to capture expressions and personalities so perfectly! I'm SO happy our paths crossed while living in Okinawa as she was able to photograph my son thru many stages of life; newborn, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year. I’m always excited to see the photos because I know they will be fabulous! She is so patient and great with kids (and parents too!) We will be moving back to Portland soon and I can’t wait to have her capture more moments we will cherish for a lifetime!"

"I found Shannon on Instagram and I'm so glad I did! By happy coincidence, she had mini sessions scheduled for the weekend my mom was in town (which was also my mother's birthday) so I signed us up. We met Shannon at a spot she was familiar with: a nature preserve just south of us. It was the perfect spot for a session with two small boys. Shannon kept up while they ran around like crazy and managed to capture their personalities while still providing beautiful portraits that we can (and will) hang on our walls. She was easy going and relaxed, which helped us (the adults) relax as well. I never had that paralyzing feeling of a camera staring at me and demanding a performance, I was just walking along with a new friend and occasionally striking a pose in good light. The results are stunning - we couldn't narrow it down to the pre-approved number of images, so I'm actually purchasing a couple of additional ones. I just can't help myself. Two thumbs way up!"
